SAFETY INSPECTIONS
One of your most important Challenge Course ownership concerns is initiating a regular maintenance schedule and having an annual safety inspection performed.
The Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) requires all Challenge Course facilities have a yearly safety inspection. Your inspection should be performed by a professional Challenge Course company,
one that guarantee the results.
AEC regularly inspects the Ropes Courses and Climbing Towers we build. In addition, we also inspect
other High and Low Ropes Courses and Climbing Towers, regardless of the design
or who the original builder was. Organizations most often choose to have their inspections take place prior to their program season. However, if your course has been subject to the harsh effects of Mother Nature (lightening, wind, flooding, etc…) we will come out at your request to perform an emergency inspection of
your course.
Our safety inspections are "hands on" and they cover every aspect of the
course's construction. Included in every inspection is a maintenance
tune-up, a visual inspection of your participant safety equipment, and a
review of your program paperwork. After the inspection a written report
of the findings will be submitted for your Risk Management file.
