DESIGN AND INSTALLATIONS
AEC builds only custom designed Ropes Courses and Climbing Towers; every project is a "one of a kind
design". We do this for one simple reason, every program we work with
is different. When making your investment, AEC wants to make sure you get the greatest "return"
possible.

Low Ropes - For those
who are new to the Challenge Course field and all the different terminology, a Low Ropes Course
consists of challenging elements that are built 2 to 12 feet off of the ground. These elements specialize in using the cooperative teamwork of the entire group to achieve success. With names like the Nitro-Crossing, Too Slack Jack, Bridge's Out, and The Trust Fall, your group will have
lots of fun "discovering" the key to each element.
High Ropes - High Ropes Courses consist of elements that are built
30 to 60 feet above the ground for the added challenge that heights bring. In the past, high elements have been considered an "individual" challenge. Today we design many elements that are meant to be a challenge for two or more
participants. A Giants Ladder can be built to safely accommodate 2-4
persons. An element like the Flying Squirrel ties the entire group together for one wild ride. High Ropes Courses can be installed in trees that meet inspection requirements. For facilities without trees, pre-inspected, treated utility poles are used for supports. The installation of a High Ropes Course using trees
can cost between $6000 and $18,000 dollars. A High Ropes Course installed using utility poles
can cost between $10,000 and $25,000 dollars. Prices
will vary greatly due to the additional cost of the treated poles, delivery and their installation.
Climbing Towers - Climbing Towers are great additions to facilities that have existing Ropes Courses, or for those with a limited amount of land. Climbing Towers are built using three or four 50-60 foot utility poles for support. Often times, clients choose to use two sides of the tower for climbing and rappelling and the other two sides for High Ropes Course elements like the Vertical Playpen, Giant's Ladder,
or the Centipede. Adding a Zip Line Wire or Giant Swing as a "dismount" element will give you a complete
facility in one terrific structure. Climbing Towers can be designed with features like low angle climbing terrain for beginners and large overhangs that will challenge even your best climbers. Prices for Climbing Towers range from $16,000 to $28,000 dollars.
